President Biden is punishing people with a good credit score, by making them subsidize mortgage loans of higher-risk borrowers with bad credit. This sounds like the communistic philosophy: “From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.”

U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security Secretary, Alejandro Mayorkas was grilled again before another Congressional committee and he looked extremely too small for the job.

Yesterday (Thursday) Mayorkas visited Texas, exactly a week from the anticipated end of Title 42 which allowed officials to turn away migrants for public health reasons. Too little, too late.

Cal Thomas writes in his essay, “That loud clucking sound we are hearing from "sanctuary cities" and other cities run by Democrats is the consequence of lax immigration policies coming home to roost.”

So what is the problem with illegal immigration? Here are just 5 problems.

1. Uncontrolled immigration without assimilation. In Cal Thomas’ book, America’s Expiration Date, he writes, “America has become a nation of tribes and hyphenated Americans. Instead of “Out of many, one,” we’re becoming “Out of one, many” as immigrants’ allegiance to their home of origin supersedes America.

2. Illegal immigration is a sin. Romans 13:1-7 that God established human government and expects us to obey its laws unless government makes a law that is ungodly. There is nothing in the Bible against nations building a wall on their border. In fact, in the book of Nehemiah, he returns to Israel from Babylon to build a wall. 

3. Illegal immigration defies God’s sovereignty. Acts 17:26 says, “ From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands.” So God determined our place and time on earth. Why? Verse 27 says, “God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.” The best opportunity for them to find God is to seek him where God planted them. If God leads them here, they still must enter through the legal channels.
