I’ve read several theories as to why Tucker Carlson parted ways with Fox News and I don’t know what the truth is. But the audience response was telling. Fox’s viewers during Tucker’s time slot were down about half. And Fox’s stock dropped on the news of Tucker’s departure but then recovered later in the day. On Wednesday, Tucker posted a short video on Twitter and it was viewed 71 million times. For perspective, Tucker’s viewers on Fox were 3 million a night.
You may have noticed in my past newsletters that I post Tucker’s monologues quite often. It’s because he mocks the left, he challenges the right and reports on stories the rest of the media ignores. On his last show he reported on why the DOJ investigation into Hunter Biden’s business has been delayed so long. Watch it here.

I spent a little time with 2-time Indy 500 winner, Al Unser Jr. and his lovely wife, Norma at Dawson’s in Speedway, IN. As you can see, I gave him my caricature of him in the car he won the 1994 race.
We were there with some of the producers of the Mayberry Man movie and series currently in production. Unser will have a small part in the Mayberry Man TV series. They’re shooting a scene today at Raceway Park.
FYI, my son, Brett Varvel is the lead actor in the Mayberry Man movie and is also in the series.
For those who aren’t Indycar fans, the Unser family is a racing dynasty. The Unsers account for 9 wins at the Greatest Spectacle in Racing. Al Unser Sr. won at Indy 4 times, his brother Bobby won 3 times and Al Jr. won twice.
Personal note: Last year, I read an interview with Al Jr. in which he discussed his new relationship with Jesus Christ and how Jesus has changed his life.
2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
Al Unser Jr is a new creation.

This is what a Marxist mentality looks like. Marxists look at life through the lens of a victim. They see people as oppressed or the oppressors. This godless worldview is full of anger, hate, rage, division, destruction and chaos.
Obviously, laws against theft will have no effect because moral relativism trumps truth. Evil is called good and good, evil. (Isaiah 5:20).
