Gary Varvel: The Debate knockout punch

Biden supporters may throw in the towel after last night’s debate. Biden tied himself in knots. He stumbled, mumbled and lost his train of thought.

The knockout came when Biden said something incoherent and Trump responded with, “I really don’t know what he said at the end of that sentence. I don’t think he knows what he said either.”

How bad was Biden’s performance?

Townhall’s Matt Vespa wrote, “Donald Trump might have won the 2024 election tonight.”

Townhall’s Katie Pavlich wrote, “Democrats are panicking in the aftermath of President Joe Biden's disastrous debate.”

The Federalist’s David Harsanyi wrote, “Biden just put on the most disastrous debate performance In Presidential history.”

Washington Examiner’s Byron York wrote: “How did Democrats let this happen?”

The U.S. Supreme Court sided with Biden over government’s influence on social media content moderation. In a 6-3 ruling, Justice Amy Coney Barrett wrote for the majority that it’s ok for the government to order social media to censor whatever they deem is misinformation.

This is soft totalitarianism. The First Amendment freedom of speech is being shredded.
