Donald Trump’s inauguration parade will include the garbage truck that went viral after Trump trolled Biden for calling Trump supporters “garbage.” Dressing in an orange safety vest, Trump gave a press conference while sitting in a white garbage truck and gave a speech at a rally dressed in the vest. Mocking your opponent in a self-deprecating way is powerful.

The 2024 campaign was wild: Trump’s mugshot, two assassination attempts, Biden drops out, Trump worked at a McDonalds and finally the garbage truck stunt. It’s appropriate for the truck to be included in the parade, because afterwards Trump will be using it to take out Biden’s garbage policies.

Personal note: I voted for Trump 3 times but as I’ve said before, Trump is not the answer to America’s problems — Jesus Christ is. We need a new Great Awakening.

John Adams, our second president of the United States, said, “We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion… Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

Trump may secure the border, make trade deals, cut spending and sign peace treaties and that will be great. But he can’t make people moral and religious. Only Jesus Christ can do that and that is what America needs.
