Democrats Need an Exorcist
It appears the evil spirit of TDS—Trump Derangement Syndrome—has convinced Democrats that Donald Trump is a king.
According to the media, millions of low-information protesters took to the streets over the weekend to complain about this imaginary problem, chanting, “This is what democracy looks like.”
Really? Because it looks more like mass hysteria with matching T-shirts.
Someone should tell them we’re a Constitutional Republic. And news flash—Americans don’t vote for kings. We vote for presidents. Donald Trump just happened to win—both the Electoral College and(brace yourself) the popular vote.
So maybe before calling for another “pro-democracy” protest, the left should call for—oh, I don’t know—an exorcist.

The Verse for Today:
“And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us.” — Acts 17:26–27
This verse amazed me the first time I read it, and it still does today. It reminds us that God is both sovereign and deeply personal.
First, notice that Scripture says He “made from one blood every nation.” That means there is only one race—the human race. We are all part of one family, designed by one Creator.
Secondly, God determined when and where each of us would live. Nothing about your time in history or your location is an accident. Every detail is part of His divine plan—crafted so that we might seek Him.
I can see this truth clearly in my own life. When I was seventeen, my father got a new job in Dayton, Ohio, and we planned to move before my senior year of high school. But just before the move, my father developed arteriosclerosis in his leg. The surgery and recovery took months, and then he was laid off from that new job. So, our plans changed, and we stayed where we were.
That year, I met a freshman girl who later became my wife. At the time, it all seemed like a string of setbacks and disappointments—but now I can see that God was gently guiding every step. What looked random was really divine orchestration.
Paul tells us that God does this “so that we should seek the Lord.” We still have free will, but God lovingly opens and closes doors to draw us closer to Himself.
If you’re searching for God today, take heart—He’s not far from you. The best place to find Him is right where you are. Simply pray, “God, if You’re really there, reveal Yourself to me.” Then open your Bible and listen as He speaks.
If you seek Him, you will find Him.
