“So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.” (1 Corinthians 15:42-44)

THE RESURRECTION
“...Why do you seek the living among the dead?” - Luke 24:5.
Are you seeking fulfillment in life in dead things? After the crucifixion, the disciples were crippled with fear thinking they would be next.
On the first day of the week, several women went to the tomb where Jesus had been buried. But they found the stone rolled away and the tomb was empty. Their hopes and dreams were gone.
Then suddenly 2 angels appeared and said, “He is not here but is risen.” Then the angels told them to remember that Jesus had told them that He was going to be crucified and that He would rise again on the third day. Jesus is alive! And because He lives, there’s hope for you and me.
Listen, don’t let the circumstances of life make you despair. Don’t live on feelings. Remember the promises of God. In John 11:25-26, Jesus said,
“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
Each one of us must answer this question. Your answer determines where you will spend eternity.
This life is short at best and full of disappointments. So don’t seek fulfillment in dead things that don't last but seek fulfillment in Jesus who is eternal life and who has promised to resurrect those who trust in Him.
Have a blessed Easter. - Gary Varvel
It appears that Democrats are using the same political playbook as Russia’s Putin and China’s Xi.
