President Biden, Senate minority leader McConnell and Senator Feinstein are past their prime. They are physically not up to the job. This might upset you but my job is to call them as I see them. This cartoon might be viewed as mean. I disagree. I think it shows that their advanced ages have diminished their cognitive function. It’s nothing to be ashamed of. It happens to people much younger than these three.
I’m not the only satirist pointing out that the emperors are mentally bare. The Babylon Bee wrote, “Family Torn Between Placing Grandpa In Hospice And Having Him Run For Senate.” and “Are You At A Nursing Home Or The U.S. Senate Chamber? 9 Clues To Look For.”
So how did this happen?
Psalm 106:13-15 says, “They soon forgot His (God’s) works; They did not wait for His counsel, But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tested God in the desert. And He gave them their request, but sent leanness into their soul.”
When the people of Israel forgot God their hearts lusted to be like the nations around them so God gave them the leaders they deserved which resulted in an unquenchable spiritual thirst and hunger.
Americans have forgotten God and we’ve become spiritually weak. One follows the other like night follows day.
On June 9, 1978, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn spoke at Harvard and said, “We have lost the concept of a Supreme Complete Entity (God) which used to restrain our passions and our irresponsibility. We have placed too much hope in political and social reforms, only to find out that we were being deprived of our most precious possession: our spiritual life.”
He described what Psalm 106 said would happen. We sought a humanist society so God gave us human leaders with feeble minds.
Why won’t Biden, McConnell and Feinstein retire? I imagine their pride won’t let them quit. They’ve all been there so long they probably think no one knows what they know and can do what they do. They can’t see what we see: they’re not fit for the job.
If only Americans would delight ourselves in God instead of demanding our own way, look at what will happen.
Psalm 37:4 says, “Delight yourself also in the LORD; and He shall give you the desires of your heart.”
When we seek God first, He will bring the right people into our life to serve and lead us in the way we should go. So how do we find our way back to God?
First pray:
2 Chronicles 7:14 says, “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
Secondly: We need courageous Christians who will be salt and light in our spiritually dead world. Speaking metaphorically, we needs some Davids to stand up to the cultural Goliaths (1 Samuel 17). We need some Samsons who will pull down the pillars of secular humanistic philosophies (Judges 16). We need some Gideons to tear down the evil altars of Baal — the idol of child sacrifice (Judges 6-9).
Saving America will take a miracle of God. Fortunately, there is nothing impossible for Him.

I love it and wish I had the skill you do! Thanks again.
Thank you, Gary for your insightful comments about the sad and unsurprising state of our nation.
There they are! Fail-safe instructions out of this unbearable consequence we put ourselves in by rebelling against our Creator God and they’ve been there for thousands of years, the Bible! If only we would do as it says.
