Another debt ceiling deadline and it’s time once again to kick the can down the road. America’s government has overspent what it receives in tax revenues by nearly $32 trillion.
Republicans are just as guilty as big-spending Democrats. But when a few brave lawmakers suggest a reduction in the spending increases, their political enemies crucify them.
The Biden doctrine grows government to fix the problems that government has caused which will require more growth to fix the problems that government has caused… But the government doesn’t have any money so it has to take it by force (tax) from the people who earn it. The late economist Milton Friedman explains government spending in this short video.
Biden’s open border has resulted in millions of future democrat voters after they take advantage of government handouts.
Writer/historian Alexander Tytler has been quoted as saying, “A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship.”
Whether Tytler actually said it is not as important as the fact that voters know which politicians will give them government goodies and it will result in downfall of the U.S.
In the year 2000, the national debt was $5 trillion. In 2019, the national debt was $22 trillion. Today the national debt is $32 trillion. What are we doing to future generations?
