Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis launched his presidential campaign on Twitter Spaces but the platform sustained repeated technical glitches which kept his message from getting off the ground. This isn’t how you want to launch your presidential campaign, but it’s a long race ahead and this will be soon forgotten.
For the record, I like the governor. And I’m confident that he’ll right the ship. But this was a disappointing way to start.
An IRS whistleblower who claims to have information about alleged mishandling and political interference in the ongoing criminal probe into Hunter Biden.
It’s obvious that the IRS, FBI, DOJ…have slow-walked the investigation into the Hunter Biden Influence Peddling business. We have a two-tier justice system.
HOW TO LIVE IN BABYLON - PART 2
God blessed our America and made it the greatest country in history. Why?
In 1620, the Pilgrims wrote the Mayflower Compact which began by saying, “Having undertaken for the glory of God and advancement of the Christian Faith…”
The reason the first settlers came to this country was to spread Christianity. The educational system of our Founding Fathers was Biblically based. As a result, the Bible is quoted in our Founding Documents more than any other source.
Fast-forward to today and the Founders of our nation would not recognize it any longer. Not because of the technological advancement but because of the blatant immorality, lawlessness, violent crime, homelessness, drug-addiction and the massive size of the government. I’m sure they would see the failure of the church to impact society and they would say, “See, I told you this would happen without religion and morality.”
Since we are living in a modern-day Babylon, how then, should we live?
God tells us exactly what to do and it’s the same instructions He gave to the Israelites when they were taken to Babylon. Here is a list of 8 commands found in Jeremiah 29:5-7:
“Build houses and settle down; plant gardens and eat what they produce. 6 Marry and have sons and daughters; find wives for your sons and give your daughters in marriage, so that they too may have sons and daughters. Increase in number there; do not decrease. 7 Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.”
Build houses
Plant gardens — business
Eat produce.
Marry — start families.
Increase in number.
Do not decrease.
Seek peace and prosperity of your home.
Pray for your hometown. (If it prospers, you will too.)
Bible-believing Christians are to live in the world but not live like the world. As I pointed out in Part 1, Daniel is our example on how worship God and resist false religions.
But Gary, we live in a pluralistic society. So was Babylon, but look at Daniel. He got involved in political leadership. So should we. Leaving our community to the progressive liberals to run only guarantees misery. Heaven forbid!
Pray for peace, campaign for godly candidates, vote for conservatives and seek ways to reach unbelievers.
I know a group of people who, instead of cursing the darkness, are planning an event for children to counter the LGBTQ events. I’ll give you details when I get them.
A growing number of Christians are using social media to reach the lost. I’m producing this newsletter in hopes that you will share Biblical truth among your sphere of influence. My son, Brett, acts and directs movies that communicate the gospel.
If more Christians get involved, we could turn the world upside down for The Lord. Then we will find peace and perhaps God will make America great again.
Be sure to like this post and comment. Interaction helps me expand my reach.

Lol. Excellent cartoons, as always. And I'm always in awe that you also have time to do so much great analysis writing. I barely have time for the comics alone. Then again, I'm still working part-time. Also, the Mark Dice video was a cherry on top of your delicious post.
Gary, thank you so much for your insights.
