Will artificial intelligence destroy civilization?
Here's what the Bible says about AI and it's not good
THE TROJAN HORSE OF AI
Elon Musk warns that Artificial Intelligence (Ai) could potentially destroy civilization. He proposed a pause in its development so that we could think through the negative consequences of moving too fast.
This, coming from the man who owns a brain implant company, Neuralink, which he says will make the paralyzed walk, the blind see and eventually turn people into cyborgs. Cyborgs? He’s not talking about prosthetic limbs. AI would combine computer chip technology with human biology: “transhumanism.”
What is the end goal? Consider the words of Prof. Yuval Noah Harari, a historian, philosopher and best-selling author, at the World Economic Forum in January of 2023.
“We are no longer mysterious souls; humans are now hackable animals … replacing evolution by natural selection with intelligent design. Not the intelligent design of some God above the clouds, but the intelligent design of our clouds, the IBM cloud, the Microsoft clouds. These are the new driving forces of evolution … the idea that humans are spiritual beings having free will is over … through transhumanism, we become the gods. It’s a religion coming from silicon valley.”
We become the gods? This is the same lie that enticed Eve in the Garden of Eden as recorded in Genesis 3. Of course Harari is not talking about everyone becoming a god. He’s talking about a select few people like himself who will be the gods over the rest of humanity. To accomplish this, they will need to hack into humans’ brains and change their free will thus making them “transhuman.”
This is the view of modern science. But does the Bible say anything about AI? Read for yourself:
