Hello Gary,

Thank you once again for your keen biblical insight.

Amen to all the comments you have received.

Yes. Our sinfulness, their consequences and God’s righteous judgment are clearly on display in America.

Many in the church have not been born again and, consequently, are not obeying Jesus’ command to take His gospel into world which is the power of God to change hearts and minds.

Your example of Nineveh as to America is a good one. Nineveh during the days of Jonah is a true example of a people turning their hearts to God. Perhaps, along with fasting, our prayer is that God will raise up a Jonah for America.

Have Mercy on us O’God🙏

Gary, I appreciate all of your post today. I want to especially thank you for including the inscription on the third panel of the Jefferson Memorial. I also really appreciate the link to Jonathan Turley’s article - I pray he’s right that the Trump conviction will open people’s eyes!

“We need a national, moral and spiritual revival and without that there is no hope.” Agree, but by what method? Prayer is important and should also include asking for God’s guidance on what we (individually) must do to support his plan for us, our communities, and our country. (Jerimiah 29:11.

What is not commonly understood is that God included variability as part of his design. This is the basis for identifying the aim of the Constitution as enabling “We the People” to work towards “a more perfect Union.” The founders left it up to future generations (that be us 😊) to develop and apply the methods for supporting continuous improvement toward the aim of “more perfect.”

W. Edwards Deming was a devout Christian and was recognized throughout the world for his contributions in developing methods for improving the quality of any product or service by reducing variation. This would include providing products and services in support of the Great Commission. (Mathew 28: 16-20).

Deming supported a secular approach to improvement but also reinforced that actions taken to reduce variation could lead to metanoia – spiritual conversion. This point is also reinforced in Romans 2:2: “Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2 NIV

In my campaign for county commissioner, I am incorporating a strategy that supports a secular and non-secular approach to improvement by helping to raise awareness of the interrelationship between Christianity, Citizenship, and Quality Management.

Right on point, Mr. GV! But, are the "huddled masses" really paying attention?

Great question, Charlie. I surmise that most people have been blinded by the smartphones and can't see or care about what's happening.

I share the concern you expressed. I will continue to pray for our country to see their need and turn back to God.

We need pastors preaching about sin, judgment and repentance instead of compromising with the world.
