Gary, I thought the Ray Comfort video about Snow White (Tuesday, April 1) was very interesting. I have tried to share it with friends, but that part doesn’t seem to be there anymore. The interviews with the two men are, but Snow White seems to be missing. Can you help?
When I posted the Ray Comfort video, the first part of it was Ray talking about the history of the Grimm Brothers and the Christian symbolism in the story. But he must have edited it because that part is gone. Sorry. I’ll look for that information and post it again.
Gary, this may be one of your most provocative posts. It is not possible for a human being to avoid hypocrisy that includes criticising others for their hypocrisy while ignoring your own.
An interesting touch to include the statement: "FYI: I confess that my family had a joyous time and we created some memories. But I told my wife afterward that I can’t imagine any circumstance in which we would ever go back to the place that cannot be named. Nevertheless, I won’t rebuke anyone who does."
My take as an atheist; only God was perfect and regardless of my belief's (conservative), there are others who have one's that are different (for example welfare and a social safety net) that I'll generally respect. Some however, such as "at any time, without apology", are a bridge too far and I don't.
Bud Light and Disney, from a perspective of how I'll spend MY money, are in the latter camp but as legal business', I don't begrudge the people who work there, or patronize them.
Thank you for being so real! We are all hypocrites about something - in my case it’s many things. Am I proud of it? NO! But, like you, I live in the reality that we all sin and fall short of the glory of God. We’re still a work in progress.
Our son& wife are with the grand at the western park of you-know-who right now. It’s not hypocritical for Christians to eat, drink, have fun, sleep, work or earn a living! It’s all about applying one’s judgment and personal determinations -are you remaining true to those or not. Not what others think you should do. And we subscribed to that newspaper so we could read your marvelous cartoons. 👍🏻
Gary, I’m glad you and your family had a wonderful time in the land of make believe. Good memories are an important part of a child’s life, and through our grandchildren, we can once again experience childlikeness through their joy in all things, including the land of make believe. They are above the political. Yes, it’s tragic what has happened to Walt’s creation. But the children can still find joy in make believe. Bless all you do.
Gary, I love your teachings and cartoons but that Disney trip put me in a tailspin. What if Trump took his family to Disney. His credibility would be tanked. I believe you were pressured and you caved. That's the only thing that makes sense to me. It goes to show you aren't perfect and none of us are. I'm going to have a Bud light watch some CNN and contribute to Gavin Newsom now to show I'm not perfect either.

Thanks for another thought-provoking essay.

For those who admonished you Matthew 7:1
Keep drawing, keep sharing THE TRUTH and ignore those who “judge and criticize” you.

Thank you, Dr. Rhonda Wells.
As a Godly man Gary, God knows your heart ❤️. I wonder if those who criticized you can say the same?
Thank you, Janet. I'm not counting on my goodness, but instead I'm counting on the righteousness of Christ.

Mark, I never claimed to be perfect, only forgiven.
Onward 'til upward.
