New York Post reports: Dr. Anthony Fauci, the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and the point man during the COVID-19 pandemic testified before the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic for two-days — a total of 14-hours.

Fauci was a top adviser to two US presidents during the pandemic that killed more than 1.1 million Americans, but now he doesn’t recall much about what happened. This is typical in Congressional committee hearings. Everyone knows that a sudden bout of amnesia is standard procedure for witnesses.

The point is, Fauci, who claimed that criticism of him was criticizing science, suddenly can’t remember what happened. Yeah, right.

Oh, on day 2 of his testimony, he did remember one thing: “the social distancing recommendations forced on Americans ‘sort of just appeared’ and were likely not based on scientific data.” Thanks, Dr. Misinformation.

When Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State, she testified before a Congressional hearing about the 2012 attack in Benghazi and she answered, “I don’t recall,” “I have no recollection,” and “I don’t remember.” When Sen. Ron Johnson pressed her, Hillary exploded, “What difference, at this point, does it make?”

Despite her incredibly poor memory, in 2014, Hillary published her memoir. So I poked fun at her possible chapter headings.

The verse for today:

“Look at the nations and watch—and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told.” - Habakkuk 1:5.

What was God doing in Habakkuk’s day? He was bringing judgment on Israel by King Nebuchadnezzar and the Babylonians because of their disobedience. Today, the nations are moving against Israel again in what could be the fulfillment of Bible prophecy. God, who knows the future, told us there would be anti-Zionist movement.

Coming Friday, I plan on showing you Zechariah’s prophecy about how God will deal with those nations that fight against Israel.
