I echo the opinion of American Greatness’ Olivia Ingrassia: “A nation on the brink: Ballot challenges against Trump must be forcefully condemned.”

Despite what you think about the former President, removing Trump from the ballot clearly disenfranchises MAGA voters.

After Colorado’s Supreme Kangaroo Court banned Trump from their ballot, I drew the U.S. Constitution’s “We The People…” being edited. Now, Maine’s Secretary of State has joined Clown World by deciding all on her own to disenfranchise voters in her state. Democrats are literally doing anything they can to stop Trump from getting votes. What’s next? Stuffing the ballot box?

If Americans are only allowed to vote for candidates that the Democrats approve, then we no longer live in a constitutional republic.

CHRISTIAN PERSECUTION

While Americans celebrated Christmas last week, over 140 Christians were ‘killed for sport’ in a Nigeria massacre — The New York Post’s Paul Tilsley.

Jesus said in Matthew 24:9 (NLT), “Then you will be arrested, persecuted, and killed. You will be hated all over the world because you are my followers.”

Tragically, this prophecy is being fulfilled. According to Intersociety, a civil society group based in Onitsha, more than 52,000 Nigerian followers of Jesus Christ “have been butchered or hacked to death for being Christians” since 2009. And yet, the world is silent.

This barbaric slaughter was carried out by Boko Haram, an African Islamist terrorist group indoctrinated by the Muslim Brotherhood and trained by al Qaeda Africa.

Where is the worldwide outrage? Where are the demonstrations in support of Christians? Don’t you think it’s odd that millions march in support of Hamas, a terrorist group, but not peace-loving Christians in Nigeria?

Let’s pull back the curtain and look at the spirit pulling the strings. In John 8:44 (NLT), Jesus said to the religious leaders, “For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning…”

So the mass murder of Christians is another example of the spirit of the Antichrist, spoken of in 1 John 4:3.

Why did God not protect His faithful followers?

In the book of Hebrews 11, the Bible describes faithful men and women who God used in great ways. Then in Hebrews 11:35 it says, “…There were others who were tortured, refusing to be released so that they might gain an even better resurrection.”

I remind you that all of Jesus’ Apostles were martyred except for John. Their deaths validated their claim that they had seen Jesus raised from the dead. None of them renounced their testimony.

Again in Hebrews 11:37-38 it says, “They were put to death by stoning; they were sawed in two; they were killed by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins,destitute, persecuted and mistreated— the world was not worthy of them…”

There is a glorious future ahead for Christians. The Apostle Paul wrote in Romans 8:18, “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”

Pray for courage for Christians living in Communist and Muslim nations who don’t have the freedom to worship. And thank God for living in America where we still have religious freedom for now.

There are famines in various places. These are just some of the signs of the last days before Christ returns. The question is, are these increasing like “birth pains on a woman” as Jesus said they would?
