New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez has been indicted on bribery charges. He is accused of accepting hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of cash and gold bars and a Mercedes convertible in exchange for using his power and influence as New Jersey's senior senator to allegedly benefit the government of Egypt.

Authorities found a half a million in cash stuffed in clothing. It must be difficult to walk carrying that kind of dough. I was reminded of the American band The Bangles’ 1987 hit ‘Walk Like an Egyptian.’

Menendez denies the allegation.

The Federalist’s Eddy Scarry writes, “Biden’s corrupt Justice Department gets no credit for indicting Bob Menendez, the easiest Democrat target it could find.”
