Next to Jesus Christ Himself, Rush is the person I'm most looking forward to meeting when I get to Heaven. I'm so thankful for the 28 years he was my daily radio-friend and inspiration and like members of my own family and brothers in arms who have gone before, I miss him greatly. Every. Day.

A piece by Michael Shellenberger about his testimony in congress on the twitter files (https://public.substack.com/p/power-grab-behind-democrats-war-on), made me think of Rush. He was, as you so aptly put it, a friend I never met. So I added the following comment: "My friend Rush Limbaugh would have enjoyed this. Actually, I think he is enjoying it, wherever he may now be. His death is a great loss. Imagine him sitting behind the golden EIB microphone and talking about this bizarre and simultaneously fantastic spectacle in Congress. Talking about the total bankruptcy of the Democrat Party on full display. It would be delicious. But fortunately we have new warriors now. Very different warriors. But I take Matt Taibbi and Michael Shellenberger any time. They did a fantastic job."

Well said. I have a similar experience in I started listening in 1991. A guy at work said listen to this guy. I was immediately intrigued. I put my headphones on and listened as often as I could. He is missed.
