Thank you, Gary. We all forget, at times, that in our happiness others might be hurting. I do appreciate your faithfulness to God and your willingness to share your faith and take a stand for Him. I really do admire your family, and will continue to follow you. I do pray for my children daily-many times more than once! Trusting Him always to will and work for His good pleasure. Please forgive me for being so sensitive. Sometimes I just impatient in the waiting. I’ll admit that. Thanks for your quick response. Blessings to you in all your endeavors for the Lord.
What an amazing job you and Carol did in training your children in the way they should go by giving them Jesus. And now, we see those seeds blossoming in the families of your adult children. Your family is a perfect picture of Jesus. Thank you LORD!
I listened to Brett’s message at the Christian Worldview Film Festival a couple of times. Taking us through his journey of truly understanding his purpose in life touches all of us. It should be viewed at every bible study across America. As a matter of fact, I’m sending the video to our bible study group leader today to ask him to play it at our bible study. I know the joy you felt hearing Brett proclaim his knowledge and love of Jesus at the Film Festival. I have joy just knowing he’s my brother in Christ!
Please pray for our 45 year old daughter that has Multiple Sclerosis and is now paralyzed in a nursing home for 6 years now. She’s 45 years old with 2 children. All our extra money, time and attention goes to her so we can’t upgrade to a paid subscription for now. God Bless! 🙏🏻
I’m really happy that your family is doing so well, but I just have to say that there are no guarantees. We also raised our children in the Lord, and all three have taken a different path. This is an absolute that I just can’t stand. I really love your take on life in regards to your Biblical worldview most of the time, but this one hurts those of us who have seemingly failed. Congratulations on your beautiful family.
Vickie, I know that there are no guarantees. Samson in the Bible is a perfect example. And granted, I should have stated that in my email. I'm sorry if my comments hurt you. That was not my intention. God has given us a free will and ultimately we all have to make our own choices. Do not give up praying for your children. Perhaps the Lord will intervene and like the Prodigal Son, bring your kids to point where they will return. Romans 5:8 says, "God demonstrated His love for us in this, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Never give up praying for your kids. I just asked the Lord to intercede for them as well. And to give you peace, faith, hope and love as you wait on the Lord.

My thoughts exactly.
