I understand your position on abortion, and if you already believe that it's a bad thing these arguments will make you feel better, but they aren't logically sound. Sure God knew us before we were born. That doesn't imply that our spirit enters the fetus at the moment of conception. Actually, the only verses in the bible that address fetal mortality seem to indicate that it is a minor deal. Yes, once a baby is conceived it is alive, but that doesn't mean we must grant it immediate personhood. Abortion is a tricky issue that isn't black and white (for many people). Pretending that it is comes off as lazy and unwilling to actually deal with the reality of the situation.

"Lazy?" "Unwilling to actually deal with the reality of the situation?" So your defense for the killing of pre-born babies is your personal opinion that the Bible addresses fetal mortality as a "minor deal?" Please read:

Exodus 21:22-25 - "22 “If people are fighting and hit a pregnant woman and she gives birth prematurely but there is no serious injury, the offender must be fined whatever the woman’s husband demands and the court allows. 23 But if there is serious injury, you are to take life for life, 24 eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, 25 burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise."

When the Bible says, "take life for life," in the context of this verse, God is giving the child in the womb "personhood." Your argument is not with me, it is with the Word of God.

Paganism is alive and spreading rapidly in this country. Instead of offering up children to gods like Molech or Baal to be burned in times past the godless in America offer up children to the gods named Lascivious and Licentious.

Lascivious and Licentious. Hmm. Good point.

Too long we have tried to be delicate with the barbaric selfish haters who promote dead babies. Time to no longer surrender the telling of the horror story in terms about freedom. If everyone, or anyone, deserves freedom, the unborn do. Those with a voice must speak for others without a voice.
