According to NBC News, not a Trump-friendly media outlet, Biden trails GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump by more than 20 points on which candidate would better handle the economy. And Biden’s deficit versus Trump on handling On immigration and the border, Americans prefer Trump by more than 30 points over Biden.

Of course, Biden and the democrats would never admit that their economic policies and open border policies have turned voters against them. It’s always someone else’s fault.

The Apple Vision Pro is more than just a virtual reality headset. It combines reality with the virtual world. You can see the real world along with your apps that can be opened with a movement of your hand or fingers.

Some reviewers compared it to Black Mirror, the Emmy-winning science-fiction anthology series which explores how the dark side of human nature intersects with the extremes of modern life.

I can see how this could become the next addiction.

Jesus said, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment.” - Matthew 22:37-38

However the Bible says most people don’t live that way.

Romans 1:25 says, “They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.”

But in our secular (godless) society, people search for created things to fill the void that only their Creator God can fill. Vision Pro is another created thing that may waste your time, entertain your mind but never satisfy your soul.

INTELLIGENT DESIGN

There is an old story about a man trying to fix his broken-down Model-T on the side of the road. A limo pulls up and an old man gets out to watch the young man working on the car. Finally, the old man suggests adjusting a specific engine part. After doing what the old man said, the young man was surprised when the engine finally started running. Surprised, he asked the old man, “How did you know what to do?” The old man said, “My name is Henry Ford and I invented this car.”

I don’t know whether this story is true, but it illustrates 3 important Biblical principles of life:

The Creator knows how his creation is supposed to work.
Changes that are contrary to the original design will ruin His creation.
We must read the owner’s manual and do what it says.

History is full of examples of God blessing nations that obeyed His laws and judging nations that disobeyed. This is why I’m concerned about America. Our culture has rebelled against our Creator so much so that even professing Christians live like practical atheists.

The sixth President of the United States, John Quincy Adams predicted America’s current immoral rebellion against God. He wrote letters to his son on the Bible and its teachings and said, “There are three points of doctrine the belief of which forms the foundation of all morality.

The existence of God;
The immortality of the human soul;
The future state of rewards and punishments.”

“Suppose it possible for a man to disbelieve either of these three articles of faith and that man will have no conscience, he will have no other law than that of the tiger or the shark. The laws of man may bind him in chains or may put him to death, but they never can make him wise, virtuous, or happy.”

Adams was prophetic. Our Biblically illiterate culture is filled with people who have no conscience. They are immoral. They show no compassion, no love nor forgiveness on social media and they are violent murderers in the streets. We shouldn’t be surprised since our schools haven’t taught absolute truth, religion or Biblical morality since 1963 when the Supreme Court rejected Bible teaching in public schools.

It was replaced by teaching relativism, situational ethics and evolution which concludes that we are all animals. This godless system produced people who act like the, “Tiger or the shark,” as Adams predicted. Adams also stated rightly that man’s laws can never make people “wise, virtuous or happy.” Laws can only warn about sin and reveal sin. Only God’s grace can change the heart of humans.

Therefore, the only way to stop America’s slide toward Gomorrah is to return to Biblical morality. But that is achieved only by believing Adams’ three points of doctrine: 1. God exists. 2. Our soul is immortal. 3. We will all face judgment.

Sadly, our culture is spiritually blinded “by the god of this age” and cannot understand these spiritual truths. (2 Corinthians 4:4).

But we should pray because nothing is impossible for God. (Genesis 18:14)
