CORRECTION: In my newsletter yesterday, I inadvertently made an typo when describing Jesus’ birth. I meant to write:

“But Jesus wasn’t just any child.”

WHY YOU NEED A MOVIE EDITOR

You are the star of the movie of your life. Now, imagine that you died and you lift up your eyes to see you’re in a theater. Up on the big screen, the movie of your life begins playing. Everything you ever (1) thought, (2) said and (3) did is playing on the big screen. It leaves nothing out. It even includes your sins of omission. You know, the times when you could have been kind but you didn’t. The times when you should have forgiven but you didn’t.

After it’s over an angel tells you that they are going to bring in the public for a second showing.

Now, tell me, how would you feel at that moment? Embarrassed, right? Admit it, you’d probably die again from embarrassment. A lot of the things that we think are no big deal in private, suddenly becomes an extremely big deal if they were exposed to the public.

Trust me, in that moment you’re goin go to wish you had an Editor to delete the bad parts of your life.

Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one gets to the Father, except through Me.” (John 14:6). Jesus is the only qualified to edit your life and no one gets to heaven unless He has edited your life.

And look at the benefits He offers. Jesus promised that if you put your trust in Him, He will remove your sins as far as the east is from the west (Psalm 103:12) and He says He will remember your sins no more (Hebrews 10:17).

I don’t know about you but, I’ve already asked for the Jesus-edited version of my life. On judgment day I won’t have to see my sinful past. You should take advantage of this offer. It’s FREE. All you have to do is repent of your sins and trust in Jesus. If you are sincere, your life in the future will change because you’ll not only have a new Editor but you’ll have a new Director — Jesus.
