What happens to America?
Fox News reports “According to Customs and Border Protection statistics released Saturday, 169 people on the FBI terror watch lists were encountered between ports of entry at the southern border in the past 12 months, a number that exceeds not only fiscal year 2022’s record-setting total (98) but the last six fiscal years combined.”
Those are the ones we caught at the border. What about the terrorists who got away and have blended into our society? You know, the radicals who want to kill us?
WHAT HAPPENS TO AMERICA?
America has been at the forefront of nearly every world-wide event for as long as I have been alive. The most recent example; President Biden sent military ships to the Middle East to help Israel.
So what happens to America because the Bible doesn’t mention the USA. Or does it?
The Gog and Magog war, prophesied in Ezekiel 38-39 and some scholars think verse 13 may possibly make an obscure reference America. It says:
Sheba, Dedan, the merchants of Tarshish, and all their young lions will say to you, ‘Have you come to take plunder? Have you gathered your army to take booty, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take great plunder?’”
Tarshish was a grandson of Japheth, one of Noah’s 3 sons. (Genesis 10:4). It is believed that Tarshish moved west in the area known as England and Spain. Therefore, “the young lions” would seem to represent nations that were founded by these 2 European countries, namely the United States and Australia. It is interesting that England’s national symbol is a lion. And compared to the other nations, the U.S. is very young.
Sheba and Dedan were the grandson’s of Noah’s son, Ham. (Genesis 10:7) They are Arab nations, some believe to be Saudi Arabia. They are trading partners with Tarshish and the lions. This fits the description of our time since the Saudis sell oil to the rest of the world.
If that is the case, notice their response to the invasion of Israel: “Have you come to take plunder?” That’s it.
That doesn’t sound like America’s response.
The current war in Israel is NOT the Gog and Magog invasion because it doesn’t include Russian, Iran, Turkey, Libya and Sudan listed in Ezekiel 38. Plus, the U.S. responded with a show of force, not with questions.
So this current war may be just another “birth pain” that Jesus predicted in Matthew 24:8.
Israel is the focal point of the Bible and of course, America didn’t exist when the Bible was written. Still, I wonder what will be the future of America?
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for God’s protection for our troops and mercy for our country.

Thanks Gary, another great post. and another good interview by Tucker. On the Floyd issue, Legal Insurrection covered the trial and provided legal analysis throughout. Verdict and trial governed by emotion and politics and and not facts. Ditto on the J6 trials and Trump prosecution. The "So What?"
Critical Thinking by the citizenry is required to sustain our Republic. it involves taking the role of a Jurist to analyze both sides of an argument, the evidence (facts), and the counter-arguments before making a decision. The norm today is making a decision based on a one-sided closing argument.
